The destruction and devastation just in our neighborhood alone really took us by surprise. Yesterday afternoon, my husband and I took a drive in Inglewood, TN, just blocks from where we live, to see some of the damage caused by the storm. If this is what things look like in our neighborhood, I can’t imagine what the other 30+ neighborhoods in Davidson County look like. Opry Mills may be closed for good; Opryland Hotel may take up to two years to fully reopen; there are sinkholes developing east of us; and water rescues continue even today. Nashville is a truly wonderful city, and we have every hope that we’ll recover, but it will take help, time & faith.
If you are getting married in Nashville or in the Middle TN area, be sure pick up the phone and call Caprice at Enchanted Florist. Not only is her work “out of this world” beautiful, your friends will still be talking about the amazing flowers after your wedding! She is also one of the sweetest people I know.

Yesterday was the perfect day for a fun downtown Nashville engagement session with Sandy and Joshua.
We started out at our studio on Broadway and ended at the Flying Saucer to take a couple of fun shots. Here is a peek at one of their many great photos from their day. Congratulations Sandy and Joshua on your upcoming wedding!
A couple of weeks ago I had such a blast photographing Allie and Andie’s engagement session in Leapers Fork, at Southhall Eden. Before we started our session that day, Andie treated me to a fried Bologna sandwich at Pucket’s Grocery, which was out of this world good! If you are ever in the area be sure to to stop by and have a taste of their homemade Southern goodness, you won’t be disappointed !
After we warmed up from the frigid winter cold, we headed over to take a few shots where Andy proposed to Allie, and from there we drove over to Southall Eden, a beautiful location where the two of them will be married this fall. Congratulations to the both of you, I can’t wait for your beautiful wedding day!
